:: Introducing myself ::

I graduated with the Diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2006, with a major in Computer Science. My diploma thesis was in the field of visual tracking, and was carried under the supervision of Prof. Dr. P. Maragos.
I joined the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the ETH Zurich for my Doctoral Studies in 2006. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. B. Nelson, I am conducting research on the visual tracking and localization of intraocular microrobots. I currently live in Zurich, Switzerland.
In my free time, I enjoy miniature painting. I have a laser-jollen sailing license, and I am an intermediate snowboarder. During my Ph. D. studies, I was lucky enough to travel around the world a bit.
